The South-Western City Schools Educational Foundation is pleased to
again be able to provide grants in support of innovative educational opportunities
for students in the South-Western City School District. Below are some of the
grants awarded this year.

Developing Transferable Learning Skills 
Building Oral Language & Comprehension
Elementary Ukulele Project
Trade Books to Support Reading Units of Study
Diverse Texts for Diverse Kids
Spanish Library
Reading Nonfiction: Fun for Everyone!
AP History & AP Language Trip to the Federal Courthouse
Stiles Publishing Shop
Career Based Learning Centers
Implementing Differentiated Math Centers 
Traveling Near and Far with VR (Virtual Reality)

The total grant award in 1988 was $305. In 2018, over $20,000 was awarded.
Overall, the SWCSEF has awarded more than $325,000 in grants in support of
enhancing education in the South-Western City School District.
