The SWCSEF was established in 1986 as a means to raise funds to provide student scholarships for post-high school education and has donated over 2 million dollars to SWCS Students and Teachers
Since then, students of South Western City Schools have received over $1,620,400 in scholarships ranging from $500 - $9,500 for post-secondary education.
Teachers of South-Western City Schools have received approximately $433,300 in educational grants funding a variety of classroom and school projects designed to foster innovation in teaching and exploration of new ideas and technologies.
The Foundation has a completely volunteer Board of Trustees. By using volunteers, the Foundation is able to ensure that all proceeds are used to support students and their educational needs.
