Student Scholarships 2012 Student Scholarship Applications are now available! The deadline for 2012 scholarship applications is March 23, 2012!
Scholarships in the amount of $500 - $2,500 will be awarded by and through the South-Western City Schools Educational Foundation (SWCSEF) to selected South-Western City School seniors wishing to further their education upon graduation from high school. Once selected, student's must provide verification of enrollment (course schedule or acceptance letter) prior to February 23, 2013. Each scholarship awarded will be paid directly to the graduating student beginning July 1, 2012 upon receipt of verification of enrollment into a post secondary institution. The SWCS Educational Foundation awarded over $67,000 in college scholarships to graduating SWCS seniors in 2011 and since 1988 has awarded more than $300,000. Scholarship recipients are selected by a subcommittee of the SWCS Educational Foundation Board of Trustees based on potential success in post-secondary education, financial need, and eligibility.
